EasyTravelDeals (the "Platform") is operated by EasyTravelDeals, registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt. We are the data controller for personal data you provide directly through the Platform.

- Booking — travel itinerary, passenger list, special service requests, payment method (last 4 digits only).
- Account — username, hashed password, two-factor settings, login activity.
- Technical — IP address, browser type, device identifier, language preference, pages visited.
- Marketing — newsletter subscription status, promo codes redeemed, attribution source.
3. How We Use Your Data
We process personal data on the following lawful bases:
- Contract performance — to confirm and operate your Booking, issue tickets, communicate operational updates.
- Legitimate interest — fraud prevention, service improvement, anonymised analytics.
- Consent — marketing emails, optional newsletter, non-essential cookies.
- Legal obligation — tax records, regulatory reporting, law-enforcement requests.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for:
- Essential — session, CSRF, authentication. Cannot be disabled.
- Functional — language preference, last-search restore.
- Analytics — anonymised pageview tracking.
- Marketing — attribution links from partner channels (subject to consent).

5. Sharing
We share personal data only when necessary:
- Suppliers (airlines, hotels, transfer operators) — passenger details required to deliver the booked service.

When a Booking involves a supplier outside Egypt, the necessary data is transferred to that supplier under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
7. Security
We protect data with technical and organisational measures including TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, and audited admin actions. No system is 100% secure; report any suspected breach to security@easytraveldeals.com.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion, subject to legal-retention requirements.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — opt out of marketing or profiling.
- Restrict processing — pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.

9. Retention
- Booking records — retained for 7 years for tax and regulatory purposes.
- Account data — retained while the account is active, then anonymised after 24 months of inactivity.

- Logs — retained for 12 months unless required for an open security investigation.
10. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 18. Bookings involving minors must be made by a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy. Material changes are notified by email to active accounts and posted on this page with an updated effective date.
